Jané currently has over 85 years’ experience in the pushchair, child safety, child care and maternity industry, and has led the Spanish industry for many years.

It all started when Manuel Jané Vidal, challenged by his father (who was a locksmith by trade), proudly created a pushchair for his newborn son. The invention caused so much admiration from his friends and neighbours that he was encouraged to build a couple more pushchairs that could be folded, making them much more practical and functional. Manuel took his creations to one of the main department stores in Barcelona and just one week later the first orders arrived. That is how Jané was born, and, over the years, many other innovations were created.
